1977年にメルボルンで開催されたトーナメントのマッチデープログラムに掲載された広告。

1970年代後半、オーストラリアでは、Subbuteo は、Murfett 社のブランドで販売されていました。

FISTF会長スティーブに尋ねたところ次の返信がありました。
There was a tournament in 1977 with the Socceroos, Celtic, Arsenal and Red Star Belgrade. Arsenal had a damn fine team: Rimmer, Rice, Nelson, Powling, O'Leary, Young, Brady, Hudson, Macdonald, Stapleton, Armstrong, Rix, Mathews (Manager Terry Neill).

Australia beat them 3-1 (Kosmina, Harding and Ollerton); Celtic beat them 3-2, and then Arsenal beat Red Star 1-0 (Brady).

Socceroos とあるのは、カンガルーをもじったオーストラリア代表の愛称。
